CES Samsung
The Ask.
We have five different large scenic pieces placed all around the Samsung booth can we have control over them with DMX and Video with dual SPMTE Time Code playback control for two of the scenic pieces. Locations were Main Entrance, Helix Staircase, Chandelier, Edge Phone Table, Audio Room where I made the LED ceiling react to the music.
What I did.
3d Mapped thousands of individual LEDS that were embedded in the scenic pieces. Previsualized all scenic elements and created all the content.
How I did it.
To make the content work on the Grand MA Media Servers I pixel mapped all LEDs, Build 3d Models of the scenic pieces then pre-visualized all content for the Samsung Execs.
What I used to do it.
Grand MA Lighting Desks, Grand MA Media Servers, and two separate timecode inputs for programming triggering. To get two separate streams of timecode into the Grand MA Lighting Desk I used LTC and MTC.
